I bought myself a copy of Jaguar, while getting bits to make the network work properly again. It seemed only a little extravagant, but of course there's a large bucket of sorting out and reconfiguring to be done. At present it can see the Windows computers that are connected over Airport, but not those that are connected via the hub for example.
I also got a wireless network card for the antique laptop that I bought with the money I saved while on maternity leave with Marianne. It pretty much plugged and played -- it asked me for the Windows 95 disk and I just cancelled, and it seems to work. Though I do need to put WEP back on the network. Tomorrow.
